You can already get a version for iOS devices, but from today, you can get the Polaroid Polamatic app for Android phones too.
We're in that now very familiar territory of retro imagery, but this time from an iconic camera maker of the past. Get the app and you get to choose from 36 frames in the Polaroid Classic Border Logo format and around 20 retro-style effects for the filters. On top of that, you can 'write' a caption on the white border before sharing across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or Tumblr, with the option to email too.
Downside? While Instagram is free, this app certainly isn't. You'll be looking at £1.39 to get it, which is a tad cheaper than the iOS app.
