It was up for sale, then it seemed to disappear off the market. Now this 1930s Oliver Hill-designed five bedroom art deco house in Frinton-On-Sea, Essex is back at a much cheaper price.

It's a bold structure from between the wars, renovated to a high standard and fro the outside a stunning piece of art deco architecture. That renovation has been carried through into the interior, but it's a finish you might love or hate – it's highly stylised. although much of it is just decor or furnishings. So don't put too much emphasis on that.

Plenty of space though, Head in via the entrance porch and hall and you’ll find a cloakroom/shower, lounge/diner, a high-end fitted kitchen, rear lobby, utility room and a gym on the ground floor. Head upstairs and there’s the master bedroom with balcony, a second and third bedroom with a balcony, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. Outside, there’s a front and rear garden (the latter with jacuzzi) and a large garage.

Originally selling for £780,000. it is now up for sale for £650,000.
