It has the looks of the early 20th century, but the Icon Electric Flyer is very much a 21st century mode of transport.

Said to be inspired by bikes from the World War One era, this handmade electric bicycle is capable of hitting 20mph (or 36mph in 'race mode') and covering up to 35 miles per charge, boosted by 'regenerative braking'.

Some nice details too, including leather work by Brooks England, a CREE LED headlight and a finish of brushed stainless, nickel, and brass.

If you want one, it's a limited edition of 50, selling for $4,995, which works out at £3,106.
