We featured a desk of the same name some time back, but we didn't know (until today) that there is also a Katakana sofa and lounge chair by Dare Studio.
Stunning pieces too. Designed by Sean Dare, the sofa and armchair are offered with either a solid American black walnut or white oak frame, each with a hard wearing wax oil finish and wonderful slatted back. There's also foam seat cushioning, a fibre back cushion, webbed slatted back and a choice of upholstery – fabric or leather.
The end result is what you see above and below. It certainly isn't the cheap option with prices starting at £1,580 for the chair and £2,750 for the sofa. But this is furniture that should serve you well for many years.
