There's just one downside with this George Nelson Triple Bubble light fitting. You don't actually get the shades.

It's a big downside and definitely worth pointing out at the start. But you can buy the George Nelson Bubble Lamps quite easily in the UK and when you do, you get to choose which ones you want together. Which is when this fitting comes in.

Basically, it's the archetypal midcentury light fitting, with that lovely frame of solid walnut and brushed nickel-plated steel playing host to your choice of shades, with a drop adjustable to (or from) up to 10ft vor each one.

It's the kind of thing you would buy for your 'forever house' and look at admiringly each day. Certainly not something you would leave in the house for the next occupant, that's for sure. Primarily because the shades don't come cheap and the frame itself sells for £264 in the UK or $195 in the US. I know, a lot cheaper in the US, but we presume that's because they are imported in small numbers to the UK, so we have to pay a premium for that.
