Epiphone
Thanks to @chipshopforks on Twitter for flagging up this gem, also officially known as the Epiphone 1939 Century Amplifier, which returns to the shelves in limited numbers to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

This amazing art deco-style amplifier (as the name suggests) dates back to 1939, with a cabinet design very much of that era. The reissued amp is a faithful reissue of the original in terms of that casing, a handmade maple cabinet with bent rims, all metal handle, six-point star screws and vintage grill cloth. But the inner workings have been tweaked for the 21st century.

The reworked 18-watt electronics include two 6V6 and two 12AX7 tubes, a 12-inch speaker, a master volume with pull 'boost' mode, master tone, bright, normal, and dark inputs, an extension speaker output and internal bias adjustment.

If you happen to be a musician, that probably means more to you than us. We just like the idea of it kicking about our house, adding more than a bit of style to the living room. There are just 3,000 worldwide and you can pre-order one now. The price is £299.
