This isn't a design inspired by the era, the G Plan Vintage Sixty Two Chair and Footstool is a design right out of the era.

Originally pitched as 'the world's most comfortable chair', it has returned as the Sixty Two after the year it was first seen in the stores. It's still quite a seat too, a substantial swivel chair with winged design, soft foam cushioning and buttoned back. Get the cat on your lap and you too could pretend to be a Bond villain in your living room.

If you shop around, you can get it a bit cheaper right now too. At Housing Units, the chair in a fabric finish is discounted to £1,295 currently, with the leather version down to £1,499. The stool starts at £499.
