If the 1950s-style Smeg toaster and kettle that we featured last week appealed, there's a good chance that the Smeg blender and stand mixer will appeal too.

Both are part of the same 1950s-inspires range of home appliances designed by Matteo Bazzicalupo and Raffaella Mangiarotti and like the previous two, both are coming soon. The mixer is available in a variety of colours, with a die-cast aluminium body, high polished stainless steel bowl, variable speed control, safety lock, anti-slip feet and a variety of accessories for every need included.

Likewise, the blender has a wide colour range, as well as a die-cast aluminium housing, tritan cup, four speed settings, presets for ice crush and smoothie, as well as a pulse function and safety features.

No pricing as yet, but like the previous items, we would expect to see them on the John Lewis site before too long.
