1960s poolhouse

This great looking 1960s Poolhouse in the Cotswolds was unearthed on a hunt for holiday destinations on Airbnb, and is a great illustration of how the site – offering private rental options – can offer plenty of inspiration for design lovers, after a little bit of searching.

You don't normally associate the Cotswolds with 60s style, but it just goes to show there are always exceptions, and what a handsome one this is. Built in the 1960s from glass, timber and Cotswold stone, it's situated in the village of Rodborough, conveniently close to Stroud.

It's recently been refurbished in a style that's very sympathetic to its history, with great vintage pieces, artwork and ceramics. Just check out the super stylish living/kitchen area below to get an idea. The house has two double bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with twin beds), and of course then there's that pool to be enjoyed in the summer months. The accomodation has received really positive reviews, suggesting that a stay here is even better than it looks.

Prices for a stay start at £125.
