It seems like a bizarre thing for this particular high street retailer to be selling, but if you want a 1970s club vibe in your home, do check out this Frankie rotating disco ball light at BHS.

Probably more of a talking point than a practical piece of lighting (there are obviously better options for reading). But if you have a spare room that you think could double up as an old school discotheque, this could be just the thing.

There are two components, the mirrored glass tiled disco ball, which hangs from a ceiling plate, plus the chrome spotlight, which hangs from the same plate, pointing lithe at the ball. Switch it in and the ball rotates, bouncing away that light onto the surrounding surfaces.

Of course, being BHS it doesn't break the bank, with the entire fitting yours for £80.
