We featured the armchair version as far back as 2008 and it still one of our favourite midcentury-inspired designs of the modern era. But what we didn’t know is that you can now get a Content by Conran Matador petite sofa.
Of course, the sofa isn’t a million miles away from the armchair, although there’s obviously more space in the ‘petite’ sofa (which is probably a nice way of saying two-seater). But the high back, splayed arms and tapered legs are still here, plus the upholstery options.
A statement piece, that’s for sure, retailing for £1,195.
