It has essentially has one owner for over 50 years and as you can imagine, this Norman Plastow-designed midcentury modern property in London SW20 is still very much rooted in the 1960s.

Same look, same shape and judging by the photos, the same interior fittings too. If you want to live your life back in the ‘60s, this is the place for you. Large windows, double-height ceilings in the main living area, wood panels, exposed brick walls, feature open staircase – it’s all here and so well preserved.

On a more practical note, there’s a decent amount of living space too, with a porch and entrance hall, integral garage, that wonderful open plan living room and dining area (leading onto the kitchen) and if you head up the open staircase, three bedrooms (one with en-suite) and a family bathroom. A good-sized garden at the back too, complete with summer house.

Perhaps the only downside is the price. House and location mean that is £1,250,000.

You can find out more and see more photos at the WowHaus site. Alternatively contact the agent, The Modern House.
