The classic school desk is the inspiration for the newly-launched Highfield desk by Swoon Editions.
Sadly the top doesn’t open, but it certainly has that ‘look’ and if you are on the hint for something with a vintage twist for your home office, this is a design to check out.
Actually it is two designs, with the desk available in either a rosewood or mango wood finish, both with an iron frame, storage space and drawer on traditional runners.
Each is limited to 22 units and each sells for £229.
