Yes, the title says it all. You can now get The Duke cocktail chair at Swoon Editions in a choice of six classic Liberty fabrics.
The chair itself is a 1950-inspired piece and a cool piece of design in its own right with its curved back and tapered legs. Throw in a splash of Liberty and you really have the ‘wow’ factor.
The fabric choice is the Marquess in Nightshade dating from 1977, the Parquet Simon in Moonlight (originally created for a scarf), Ray in Lagoon (inspired by a painting by illustrator Jane Ray), the oriental-style Patricia in Spice, Petronella Chintz in Delft (inspired by a drawing from an 1820s Liberty archive book) and Strawberry Meadow in Twilight, which was re-drawn from William Morris’ ‘Strawberry Thief’.
Regardless of the design, all are prices the same at £449.
