If you love the swinging sixties, you might want this Philippe Chair by Jonathan Adler.
But note that it doesn’t come cheap.
Great look though, very much with that ‘Mad Men’ vibe, this is an angular chair with sloping back that work best (to our eyes) on the contrast finish. No matter what finish you go, the skinny tapered legs really do set it off.
Now the confusing bit, getting one! The chair is available in a wide variety of finishes in the US, but in the UK just the one pictured above. The price of that is £2,295.
However, if you browse the US Jonathan Adler site you can get this is a variety of finishes and with a much cheaper starting price of $1,795. The retailer does ship to the UK from its US site (but check shipping costs first), so it might be worth investigating that route if you like what you see.
