I know, this is far from cheap. But we just love this 1964 Volkswagen split screen camper van on eBay.
According to the seller, this van was built in Germany and is a genuine right hand drive. It also comes with its certificate of provenance from the Wolfsburg factory.
As you might have guessed, this has undergone a massive restoration, having been stripped to bare metal and repainted around 18 months ago and with ‘thousands’ spent on extras from the windows to the roof rack and custom ladder and beyond.
Of course, a camping interior too, with seats, a table (which can be the base for a double bed), storage cupboards, overhead lockers, an integrated cool box and more.
