Looking for something distinctive for storing vinyl? Check out the Portishead reclaimed record storage unit by Urban Grain.

As the name suggests, this is a piece made of reclaimed components, those being scaffolding board and gas pipes would you believe. But the end result is rather cool in a retro / industrial way, produced by hand in an old Victorian hat factory in Manchester. So unique to you too.

The bespoke nature also means you can tweak the design – so if you want something sized slightly differently, you can do just that. But if you want the piece you see here, you can order it right now.

I can’t work out exactly how many records it holds, but with four bays and plenty of depth, we would guess quite a good number. In terms of the size, it comes in at 1500mm wide x 1120mm tall x 420mm deep.

As for price, that’s £895.
