I featured this company some years back, but the 1950s-style Retro Block wallpaper by Arthouse is a recent design.
Yes, they are still making interesting and affordable designs. Which is the good news story here. As for Retro Block, that’s a vibrant retro pattern, very much inspired by wallpaper of the 1950s, perhaps even the first half of the 1960s too.
Overlapping curved square shapes on a linen effect wallpaper. If I told you it was a reprint of an original you would probably believe me. As far as I know, it isn’t, but it really does have much there same effect.
In fact, if you are working on a house or room inspired by that era, this is definitely one to check out in any of the three colours available. All are pictured here, but are described as teal, orange and ochre, the descriptions obviously applying to the details for the latter two.
Best of all, this isn’t the most expensive paper to buy either. A 10m roll of any of the three colours is priced at just £8.99. Which is the perfect excuse to ponder a bit of redecorating this weekend.
Note that it is Black Friday today, so there’s a deal on if you order today – 25 per cent off the price if you use the code BLAK238.
