One of my favourite retro audio systems has just got even more retro, courtesy of the Tivoli Audio Model One 70s Colour Collection.
It’s possibly not the most 21st-century of modern-era audio systems, but it has many features that make it perfect for any retro homeāand with the new colours, even more so.
This is the 70s Colour Collection, and as you might have worked out, it throws in some 1970s colours to blend in with your retro interior. The names pretty much give the game away, with a choice of Golden Hour Orange, Avocado Green, Poppy Red, Navy Blue (ok, that’s not such a retro name) and Highlighter Yellow.
All bold colours, and all matched up with the trademark and handcrafted wooden cabinet. As a design statement for a midcentury modern home, it really is hard to beat. But it’s not just a pretty face. It plays music too.
The option of AM or FM radio might not be your thing, although the tuner is said to bring ‘clarity’ to many of the weakest stations. If you want something a little more modern, the unit also has Bluetooth connectivity and an auxiliary input for adding in further sources of audio.
Fancy one? Each one is available to order as a pre-sale, and orders are fulfilled in four to six weeks. The price for each is £199.
