Another archive reissue from Nike – the Vintage LDV trainers.
It’s a lightweight running shoe, which first saw the light of day back in the 1970s. Take your pick from purple and orange or a more subdued beige and brown, both with a mixed nylon and suede upper and sold in an original Nike presentation box.
You can pick up a pair for £50.
We featured some German-made Trabant bags last year, but we’ve just discovered another – the LogoBag Trabant 601 bag.
Based around the (former) East German Trabant 601 car, it has the name and advertising spiel in vintage font, printed onto a grey cotton bag with contrast trim, adjustable strap and zip-through fastening.

A new watch with retro looks – the Nekura Tumbler from TokyoFlash.
Available now for pre-order, the Nekura Tumbler has two dials (for hours and minutes), a red marker for the time, a polished silver case and a elf-adjustable wristband made from brushed steel, which you can have custom-engraved.
That might sound expensive, but it isn’t – you can pre-order now for £42.94.
Browsing through a gift shop last week, I noticed these really striking Roobarb and Custard greetings cards – which I’ve just discovered are also available to buy online.
To the uninitiated, Roobarb was a short animated cartoon series from the 1970s, first shown in 1974 in fact, with all the distinctive animations drawn by Bob Godfrey. Indeed, all the drawings on the cards are officially licensed Godfrey images, with everything from birthdays to get well soon and retirement covered.

A stylish DAB for not a lot of cash – that’s the Bush TR04DABRED retro DAB radio.
Packaged in a ‘lip gloss red’ casing, this 50s-style radio has a touch-screen control panel, a blue backlit display, FM and DAB reception (with 10 presets for each), auto tuning and a vintage-style Bush logo on the front.

It might not be the most comfortable chair you’ll ever sit in, but the Paimio Chair by Alvar Aalto is one of the more stylish pieces of seating you’ll encounter.
Amazingly, the Paimio Chair (also known as Chair 41) dates from 1931 and equally amazingly, it’s made of all wood – a natural lacquered birch frame and a seat made of bent birch plywood in black or white.
