1960s Helkama Jopo bicycle for kids

Jopo_kids

A couple of weeks back, we featured the latest version of that 1960s Finnish classic, the Helkama Jopo bicycle. It looked perfect for kids, but perhaps was a little too big for the smaller ones. Which is where this new version comes in.

It's everything that its big brother was, offering a low front frame, single gear, luggage carrier, integrated lock and kickstand, plus the ability to adjust the seat and the handlebar. But this version is scaled down, with its 16-inch wheels making it perfect for that 'first bike'.

If you want one for your little one, it costs 289 Euros.

Verner Panton Flowerpot VP4 table lamp

Flowerpot_table2

We've featured the Panton Flowerpot in various guises in the past, including the pendant light and original table lamp, but we're still bowled over by the newly-introduced Verner Panton Flowerpot VP4 table lamp.

Yes, this is the latest variation of the 1968 classic, re-designed as a bedside or desk lamp, but still maintaining that 'Flowerpot' look – this time in aluminium with a lacquered finish, supported by that chrome frame.

Check out the image over the page for the full colour range, all available to buy online for £284 each.

Bily Liar House print by Jonathan Wilkinson

Billy-liar-house

You may have seen the work of Jonathan Wilkinson previously when we featured his Gateshead 'Get Carter' car park print. This new print, The Billy Liar House, features another northern suburban icon – the house made famous in the classic 1963 film Billy Liar.

The house looks the same now as it did in the film, and can be found overlooking Shipley and a post-industrial landscape in Baildon on the outskirts of Bradford. ‘Hill Crest’ (as it is named in the film) sits atop a hill and is an inseparable backdrop for many of the film's key scenes.

The litho print is sized at 40 x 30.5cm, and is a bargain £20 including free postage and packaging. It is must for any fan of the film or fan of Jonathan Wilkinson.
