Paul Smith re-works 1960s Arne Jacobsen-designed Stelton Cylinda bar set

Smith_stelton

Essentially this is the same Arne Jacobsen-designed Stelton Cylinda bar set that was first seen back in 1967. But Paul Smith has added his own twist, re-launching it as the company's Statement Bar Set.

It's a limited edition for 2010 to celebrate Stelton's 50th anniversary, containing an ice bucket with tongs, jug with ice lip, six glass coasters, cocktail mixer with spoon, a cocktail shaker and a serving tray, with construction primarily from stainless steel with a titanium surface – that black colour you can see on the image.

It's all finished off with a collection of statements by the British designer himself. Price? Well, it's a lot more than the coffee set we featured on eBay last week – the price is £1,500.
