Voyager handcrafted arcade machine – with 36 games

Voyager_2
Fancy re-living the days of the gaming arcade in your own living room? You can with the Voyager, which is based on classic machines of the 70s and early 80s.

It’s a handcrafted gaming machine of the vintage variety, featuring an 8-way joystick, rapid-fire buttons and an internal PC system that allows 36 games to feature in the one unit. And we’re talking all the classics – Space Invaders, PacMan, Scramble, Donkey Kong, Dig Dug – the list goes on.

Each one is handcrafted from a choice of wood, with a 14-inch horizontal screen, a choice of free or coin play (you can access your coins with a key), two-player option and casters for easy transport. The only downside is the price – £1,799.99.

Ligne Roset offers miniaturised versions of design classic – Mini Togo and Baby Togo

Mini_togo
We have covered Ligne Roset’s Togo seating in the past – most recently, when DFS offered a budget take on this 70s classic. Well, now there some new versions available from Ligne Roset – the Mini Togo and Baby Togo.

Yes, the original all-foam sofa is now available for babies and small children. The Mini Togo is aimed at children aged five to 12, while the smaller Baby Togo is for children aged two to four.

Apart from the size, it’s everything that the original is, even in the same colour choices. Though obviously the prices are reduced – with the Baby version selling for £292 and the Mini Togo available for £422.

Kenwood’s retro K Mix stand mixer

Kenwood_kmix
Kenwood
describes the K Mix as a ‘future classic’. We would argue that its retro styling make it a thing of the past.

No bad thing either – this curved edges, aluminium and polished steel, not to mention the bright colours are guaranteed to grab the attention of anyone entering your kitchen. And it’s a functional item too, especially if you like to do a bit of baking, with that stainless steel bowl, non-stick dough hook, 16-wire whisk, beater and splash guard. There’s also a choice of speeds, including an extra-slow speed for folding.

Available in a choice of three colours, it retails for around £350.

Desktop Designer Chairs – which one will you get?

Designerchairs

Remember the Panini football stickers? As a kid, you bought packet after packet to fill an album – constantly buying the same ones in the hope of finding that elusive missing player. I sense that the Desktop Designer Chairs are the design equivalent.

The chairs are miniatures (1/12 scale) of mid-century and vintage classics but each one is boxed in a way that you cannot tell what’s inside. So you can order one from a certain series, but you’ll never be sure which ones will arrive through the post.

No Singing, No Dancing, No Swearing chalkboard

Pleaseno
We have covered Dodo Designs previously – and although this No Singing, No Dancing, No Swearing chalkboard isn’t the work of that particular company, it is very much in its style.

Yes, we’re talking mock Victoriana with a modern twist, this time a sign for the room of your choice, featuring the text ‘Please, no singing, no dancing, no swearing, this is a respectable house’. And with a chalkboard underneath for you to add new rules, new abuse or just a few reminders of things you need to pick up.

Available online, you can pick it up for £6.95.
