A modern and unusual take on the classic Sputnik style from BoConcept – the Tulip pendant light.
The Tulip Pendant lamp is packed with white ‘trumpet-shaped’ shades from the silver core, each shooting light in a different direction from your ceiling.
Never has a product name been so accurate – this is the Book Shelf – made from an old book.
Well, what looks like an old book. It isn’t for two reasons – firstly, it’s not a genuine book, see the author’s name of ‘S.E.L.F. Shelf’ for a clue to that. And secondly, this vintage-like book is actually solid and ready to fix to your wall as a ‘floating’ shelf, with the screws and plugs included.
The name Bugatti is more associated with the open road than the kitchen, but judging by this retro-styled toaster and espresso coffee maker, the move into the home looks to be a good one.
The espresso machine has the looks of a modernist piece and a rather cool retro dial, as well as a powerful 15-bar pump for milky drinks, a cup warmer on the top and the ability to use either coffee pods or ground coffee. The Volo toaster has a motorised lifting system, wide slots and a serving tray.
Both come in a range of colours (so you can match up) and both are available now. Expect to pay around £170 for the toaster and £450 for the coffee maker. Find out more at the Bodie and Fou website

Dodgems or bumper cars, whatever you call them, they have been permanent fixtures on our fun fairs for over 50 years. And now you can have two in your living room.
David Simpson is the owner of the car above and its partner (which you can see over the page). Ignore the Lambretta badges, both of thse cars are 1955 Gebr Jhle bumper cars, made in Bruschal in Germany through the 40s and 50s before being exported extensively to the US for early amusement parks.
These cars have been lovingly restored into the quirkiest seating you'll ever find for a living room. And if they'll fit your home or flat, the owner is looking to sell - get in touch with us if you want the seller's details. Think you have something even more quirky in your home? Let us know and we'll happily print it.
Additional note: These cars have long sold – the article originally dates from 2007.
We scour the world for interesting retro objects – in fact, we found these Miatou 70s-style table lamps in Tel Aviv.

You can pick one up for $39.90, which is a very reasonable £20. Shipping is $15 (£7.50).
