Regular readers will know that we're big fans of Aimee Wilder, her screen prints and cushions as well as Aimee's distinctive wallpaper. But we hope you never need to use the Aimee Wilder Robot and Analog Bandages.

Not that we're opposed to you buying them. On the contrary, if you're going to have bandages in your house, these are the ones to be seen with, packing those bold old school robot and cassette designs that should raise a smile – even if you happen to be in a spot of pain.

A classic design has just got its latest colour update – the Stelton Vacuum Jug by Erik Magnussen.

Designed back in 1977 and although very reminiscent of that time, it's still Stelton's biggest selling item, hence the regular colour updates.

As the name suggests, it's a vacuum jug made of ABS plastic and glass (for the inner), a unique 'rocker stopper' being its unique selling point. That and the looks. Three colours new for 2010, which you can see above, all selling for £49 each. Bread bags not included.

Mid-century style cupboards and sideboards at reasonable prices? Better take a look at the McCord Brooklyn range from Littlewoods then. 

Littlewoods certainly isn't the first place I'd think of when looking for new furniture. However, this new range defies expectations and really looks pretty good. It's made from oak veneer and has nice detailing for the handles too.

Even better is that lots of the range is currently reduced. Prices range from £84 for a lamp table up to £211 for a sideboard.

There's all kinds of 70s folk inspired homewares cropping up on the high street right now. This magnetic bird notice board certainly fits into that category.
