Gillian Blease's Oranges tray has a fantastically fruity pattern that looks like it dates from a good few decades earlier than 2009. The pattern uses simplified versions of whole oranges and fruit slices, in a simple colour palette of white, green and (somewhat obviously) orange. The design sits on a circular white plastic tray.

Georg Jensen Quack Serving Jug
The Georg Jensen company has been producing stylish designs for over a century now, but the name is still most closely associated with mid-century Scandinavian style. The Quack Serving Jug is another great example of that style.
The jug is so named because its body shape is based on a duck, although I first noticed its retro-style curves rather than its resemblance to a bird. It is made from aluminium and insulating plastic. It is available in a choice of three colours – black, beige or brown, with the latter being the best bet for a truly retro look.
It is available to buy from the Howath Gallery priced £59.
Lisa Stickley Bone China
Lisa Stickley is being heralded as the new Cath Kidston, so if you like that shabby chic style, but want something less ubiquitous, then Lisa could have what you want. Her range includes textiles and bags, but my favourite has to be her collection of bone china.
Based on designs from the 50s and 60s,the china is decorated with retro patterns such as dots, stripes and vintage florals. The collection uses suitably vintage-looking colours with charcoal and old blue dominating.
Mugs cost £10 each, teapots £48 and the side plates pictured here are on sale, reduced from £26 to £16.50. Visit the Lisa Stickley London website to buy.
Ray Gun Glass Ornaments from Plasticland
The fifties and sixties obsession with futuristic design and outer space has provided us with some of the most striking 20th century design. These Ray Gun Glass Ornaments from Plasticland are a perfect example.
Reproducing a retrofuturistic space age look, these pieces are made from glass in a traditional vintage German style. A real talking point, these make great decorations to hang anywhere, be it from the ceiling or on your Christmas tree.
Get yours from Plasticland for $13.50 each.
“You are My Sunshine” Deckchair
The song “You Are My Sunshine” dates back to 1939 and has been recorded over a hundred times. And now it has found its way onto a deckchair.
The “You are My Sunshine” Deckchair has the famous song lyrics printed on the canvas sling. The frame is made from sustainable wood that has been treated to increase its endurance, so even if the sunshine interrupted by showers, the chair should survive.
It costs £145 from Rockett St George.
Judy Holme Wood Block Mats and Coasters
Judy Holme has added a range featuring Wood Block Lettering to her collection of homewares. The products all feature vintage typesetter's wooden block letters.
The range includes the coasts and placemats pictured above, which combine the wood block letters with brightly coloured backgrounds in a pop art style. The place mats feature the phrase “Eat time” and the coasters have the word “Brew”. They are sold in sets of six, costing £49.95 and £24.95 respectively.
They can be bought online from the Judy Holme website.
