Pinup Pins from Heartbreaker Fashion

Pinup pins

Pinup girl imagery from the 1950s heyday is some of the most well received pop art of the 20th century, and there's a whole host of images to choose from. From both magazines and pulp fiction, Heartbreaker Fashion have chosen some of the best pinup images and used them on some fun little Pinup Pins.

The badges each display a different pinup illustration and provide an easy, cute way to pay homage to the subculture. Great for a gift idea, these come in assorted packs of five directly from Heartbreaker Fashion's online shop.

A random selection of five, or the picks of your choice (providing you get in touch before you order) cost just $5 for five.

Space-Age Crease Magazine Rack

Creasemagrack

Blue Marmalade produces environmentally-friendly designs, many of which are in Sixties-looking pure white such as the Crease Magazine Rack.

It is also available in a red/white combination but it loses the space-age style that the all white one has.  It is supplied flat-packed (adding to its green credentials) but the pieces just slot together, so it should not cause any problems even for the least DIY capable.

The Crease Magazine Rack costs £32 and can be bought from The Green Haus website.

eBay watch: Artifort Four-Leaf Clover table

Clover2

We've heard of Kho Liang le and we're well aware of Artifort, but we have never encountered the Artifort Four-Leaf Clover table by Kho Liang le before we saw it on eBay.

It's a stunning design, a slightly more quirky and unusual Tulip-style table if you like, designed by Kho Liang le around four years later in 1960s and produced by Artifort during that decade, probably in the early 70s too, but it certainly hasn't been in production for many years.

Probably not tall enough for a dining table, standing at just 43cm (and 120cm wide), it's certainly perfect for a feature or large coffee table. And at £400, it looks like something of a shrewd investment too.
