Gyms Pacific Sukie-designed laptop sleeve

Gymspacific
You may remember Sukie from the Chamonix cushion we featured some time back. But as well as their own designs, they’ve also done a few for other retailers – including this Gyms Pacific laptop sleeve.

This Motel design is just one of a series available, all designed by Darrell Gibbs of Sukie UK. The back of the sleeve is in all black neoprene while the printed side is on white neoprene, with a capacity that should fit a 14-inch to 15.4-inch laptop or portable Mac and padding to protect your machine.

Available online, you can pick one up for $45 (around £23).

Puma French 77 Grip Bag

Puma_bag
There’s plenty of hype around Puma’s retro Puma French 77 range – a range of clothing and accessories inspired by 1977 and in particular, 70s tennis legend Guillermo Vilas. But browsing the selection, much of it just looks like any old sportswear range around right now. But there are a few nice items lurking there – including this Puma French 77 Grip Bag.

In Lacoste green (though they would never admit to that), it’s got a two-way zip opening into the main compartment, a moisture-resistant lining, grip handles, metal studs on the bottom and Puma "Heritage" zip pulls.

It should cost around £50.

Katherine Hamnett Clean Up Or Die t-shirt

Cleanup
Remember the big slogan t-shirts? Things like "Frankie says…" and "Choose Life"? well, the majority were Katherine Hamnett creations dating back to the early 1980s – and she’s reissued a number of them, but with a slight difference.

That difference certainly isn’t the design, which still features a range of mainly political statements, including this Clean Up Or Die shirt from 1989. The difference is the t-shirt itself – slim-fitting, compared to the original rent-a-tent, made from organic cotton and ethically-made in India.

The price has changed a little too – they retail for £55 each for either mens or womens.

Laura_bags

Laura Ashley has launched a Vintage Collection, digging into their 60s and 70s archive for both material and patterns. Above are two examples of the bags in the collection, slightly modern-looking in design, but made from fabrics of the past.

The cargo bag (left) features a vintage daisy print made from 100% organic cotton, zip top, braided handles and adjustable detachable shoulder strap. 100% organic cotton. The cotton bow bag is again made from organic cotton and using a vintage vine print. It also features a "grown on" strap with long fabric tie, bow magnetic clasp and an interior with zip pocket.

Both retail for £30.
