3D Doodle Kit – make your own 3D art

3d_doodle
We never really got 3D cinema did we? First dabbled with over 40 years back, it returned to boost some downmarket monster flicks in the 70s and 80s – then departed once more.

In truth, it’s probably more suited to print, so how about making your own 3D with this 3D Doodle Kit? You can pick one up via the Museum of Modern Art website. It’s actually just two coloured pens, used together to produce the same type of image used in 3D films. Then just stick on your glasses and watch it jump out at you.

Surely worth every penny of the $7 (£3.50) asking price.

Habitat’s space age Palla lamp

Palla_light
Like something out of a 60s sci-fi flick – or indeed a 70s futuristic living room – is this Palla lamp from Habitat.

It’s actually a glass lamp, mouth-blown and in a bold shade of blue that you’ll either love or hate. The Palla takes a 40w or 60w bulb and comes in at 30 x 30 x 30cm.

If that all suits your living room, you can pick one up for £25.

YMC Premium Plimsole shoe

Ymc_beige
I’m a big fan of no-nonsense footwear – and these YMC Premium Plimsoles are very much a throwback to traditional gym shoes – and all the better for it.

Predominantly in cream with black detailing, they have a canvas upper with a contrasting rubber midsole and cream laces.

Ideal spring/summer footwear and available now, priced at £55.
