We're a little bit confused about this range. The beds in the Orbit midcentury-style bedroom furniture range at BHS look original to the retailer, but the rest of the furnishings look very similar to another range we featured not long back.

Another mid-century style furniture range available on the high street. Doing the honours this time is the Orbit range from Debenhams.
This oak range of furniture covers a wide range of items, from dining chairs to bookcases, and tables to mirror. Each item has been given the lines, and the legs you might associate with a mid-century look. Practical too, with the sideboard and shelves offering plenty of storage options.
Prices start at £289 for the mirror and go up to £919 for the sideboard pictured.

John Lewis clearance sale online – up to 50 per cent off
We're big fans of John Lewis, which seems to have really gone big on retro and midcentury designs of late. Even better? The clearance sale has started, with up to 50 per cent off online and instore.
Some great bargains online – you can browse them all here. But the one above is a gem. It's the Orbit armchair, midcentury in inspiration with those curves and angled legs, it also has a handcrafted, solid wooden frame, screwed and glued joints, a serpentine sprung unit in the back and seat for comfort and the Hepworth fabric for covering.
It was £999 – it's now £499 while stocks last.
