Sarah Peterson has designed a quirky series of paperweights, named after The Beatles.
The Twit Too Paperweights are glass paperweights, in the shape of an owl with psychedelic stripes running through the centre of the glass. Pictured here is John, the tallest of the set at around 20cm tall. George features grey stripes and measuring 12cm, Paul has black stripes and is 11cm high with Ringo being the smallest, a 9cm owl in shades of pink.
Prices range from £50 for Ringo and Geoge, £60 for Paul (who is in the sale) and £70 for John from Your Life Your Style.
London transport system features heavily in retro-inspired products, so it makes a nice change to see something from another city, such as this New York Subway Map Paperweight.
Paperweights themselves are something of a retro item as we move away from paper and towards electronic storage (although my desk is just as swamped in paper as ever). The glass paperweights contain a small section of old New York Subway maps, with the exact part of the map varying so no two are the same. The paperweight is available in a choice of shapes, either oval or round, both priced £18.
The New York Subway Map Paperweight is available from House Inventory.
