1960s Puma Roma trainers gets a reissue in brown leather

Roma1

Recently, it's been fairly regular on the reissue circuit, so no surprise to see the Puma Roma trainers back again. Although I've not seen this 1968 classic in this particular colour option before.

The shoe created to celebrate Italian success at the 1968 European Champions is back in brown leather, with what looks like an off-white (or cream) stripe on the side. Aside from that, it's business as usual, with a slim silhouette, some suede detailing, a gum sole and foil print logos.

£64.99 is the price. Another shot over the page.

1960s Puma Roma trainers return in white and blue

Roma

We tend to feature a lot of Adidas (for good reason), but it's not got sole rights to cool reissues. Indeed, the Puma Roma trainers are one of my all-time favourites and are available once more on pre-order in a white and blue colourway.

Aa you probably know, this low cut shoe was first produced back in 1968, created to honour the Italian team and its success in the European Championship, also held in Italy that year. This is a fairly faithful reissue to that original, with a slim profile, premium leather upper, contrast suede stripe and a gum sole.

A limited release, you can pre-order now at a price of £65.

Puma Roma 68 Vintage trainers get a reissue in two colour options

Roma1

We're taking a rare excursion into the land of Puma, but for good reason – two new colour options of the Puma Roma 68 Vintage trainers.

Designed back in 1968 to honour the National Italian football team for winning the European Cup, this reissued vintage take comes in a choice of  chocolate brown and bamboo on a leather and leatherette upper, or white and navy, both with a suede toe piece, a rubber mudguard and Puma stripe branding on the sides, a rubber sole and a gold Roma 68 printed on the side.

See the brown version over the page. Both designs are priced the same, £54.99 secures you a classic.

Puma Roma 68 Vintage trainers get the reissue treatment

Puma68

A yellow and blue version of these hits the shelves in January, but now a more simplified version of the Puma Roma 68 Vintage trainers are available to buy.

Introduced back in 1968 to honour Italian national team (which had won the European Championship that year), this new version offers a white leather upper, suede detailing, a rubber mudguard,  an embroidered Puma logo on the tongue and a rubber herringbone design sole.

All of which will cost you £54.99 while stocks last.
