1980s Puma Bluebird trainers reissued

Blue1

A gem from the 1980s reissued, with these Puma Bluebird trainers certain to be of particular interest to Cardiff City supporters.

Why? Well, the colour scheme for the two reissues (the other pictured over the page) are inspired by the home and away colours of Cardiff City. Who are, of course, nicknamed The Bluebirds – and whose fans took up these shoes 'back in the day'.

Anyway, aside from that, this 1982 trainer, originally a lightweight running shoe, has a suede upper, leather lining, a natural colour injection moulded PVC sole and a gold foil decal. Both pairs retail for £65.

Limited edition Adidas x Star Wars Skywalker boots

Luke

Looks like Adidas is still persevering with its Star Wars range, although these Adidas x Star Wars Skywalker boots might have a little more appeal for movie die-hards than some of the range we've seen.

I'll be honest, I'm a passing rather than an obsessive Star Wars fan, so I'll have to take the maker's word for it that these are based on Luke's uniform whilst on planet Hoth. Obviously with an old school Adidas twist, along with contrast lacing and stripes, Luke Skywalker tongue details and 'toy' packaging.

Highly limited, they're yours for £99.

Adidas Montreal trainers reissues in a bold shade of blue

Mont

We've seen a few variations of these over the past few months, with a new Size? exclusive of the Adidas Montreal trainers just landing in blue.

A rather bold and eye-catching shade of blue suede, with white detailing and a contrasting sole. That heel is distinctive – as you might know, it was originally developed from the Gazelle design, but with a collapsible heel that was designed to allow footballers to get the shoe on and off easily after training. Or in your case, to slip on when you fall out of bed.

Available now if you want to brave the sluggish Size? website, £60 is the price.

Adidas Women’s Gazelle Casual trainers

Gaz

Just occasionally, Adidas does offer some of its classic styles specifically for women as well as men, the latest of which are these Adidas Women's Gazelle Casual trainers.

Essentially, this is a faithful reproduction of the classic 1968 Gazelle, complete with suede upper in a light brown, white contrast detailing and stripes plus 'blown rubber' outsole.

That purple spotted inner is almost certainly down to personal taste we suspect, a strange addition, but one you might like. If it's for you, a pair of these can be secured from Adidas directly for £70 right now.

Adidas Superstar LUX trainers

Superstar

Another reissue of the Adidas Superstar, with this going by the name of the Adidas Superstar LUX trainers.

It's essentially the same 1980s trainer, with this old school classic still packing that distinctive shell toe, but getting more of a premium finish than the standard issue. That means premium nu-buck uppers and premium contrasting leather 3-stripes, as well as limited numbers.

Premium also means more expensive than the standard too, £95 is the price.
