Adidas Beckenbauer trainers back in black and orange

Becken

We have seen reissues in the fairly recent past, but there's something reassuringly classic about the latest take on the Adidas Beckenbauer trainers.

Originally an all-round football and training shoe from 1982, this no-nonsense shoe is back in a classic colourway of black and orange, offering up a plush perforated leather upper, high impact training outsole and some gold branding on the side.

You can pre-order now, priced at £59.

Adidas Kegler Super trainers return in two colour options

Kegler1

One of more distinctive Adidas reissues, the Adidas Kegler Super trainers have been reissued with a twist in a numbered edition by Hanon, but we much prefer these cleaner reissues of the early 80s classic.

Lovers of chunky kicks need only apply, as well as lovers of the distinctive 'peg' system on the sole. Two issues are available, both in white leather with a suede toe bumper covering the midsole and outside, but there's a choice of detailing between orange and yellow – one pictured above, the other over the page. Kegler branding is of course printed onto the side.

1970s Adidas Spezial trainers are back in black and yellow

Spez1

A low key reissue, but certainly an eye-catching one – the return of the Adidas Spezial trainers in a black colourway.

A shoe from 1979 that was designed for indoor sports, it's a lightweight number, this time with a suede upper and 'laser yellow' accents on the leather three stripe branding, throwing in a contrasting heel piece plus a thick gum sole to finish things off.

See the shoe from a reverse angle over the page. All sizes available, £54.99 is the price.

Adidas Jeans trainers get an exclusive Size? reissue

Jeans1

Last seen on the shelves back in February, the Adidas Jeans trainers have returned once more as a Size? exclusive.

As we said previously, Adidas Jeans was initially introduced in the late 70s, designed to be worn with jeans and was much-loved on the terraces in the years after. This version is faithful to the original, except for the exclusive navy/collegiate red colourway in suede.

Update: The colour pictured here is no longer available, but the Adidas Jeans have been reissued recently in two new colours. You can pick up both at the End Clothing website.

eBay watch: 1970s Adidas Perfekt GL trainers in mint condition

Perfekt

A sports shoe not seen very often – and right now you can secure these Adidas Perfekt GL trainers in their original box for a tasty £12.50.

According to the seller, this slimline shoe dates from the 70s, or possibly early 80s, made of a dark blue leather with lighter blue detailing and off white rubber sole.

They're a size seven and a half, described as 'as new' (possibly been worn once or twice) and looking incredibly sharp. If you're a collector or if it's your shoe size, worth a punt at that current £12.50 bid price. Lots more close-up shots at the listing page.
