Dearrings_2Unlike most jewellery stores, Dani’s T-Room stocks a wide selection of clip on earrings for those without pierced ears who still want to wear bold earrings. Their stock includes a whole section of Retro Clip On Earrings.

This range includes button earrings in various hues, chandelier style earrings (in the style beloved of Edie Sedgwick) and several styles of hoop earrings in monochrome checks or spots.

Pictured here are the Chequer Teardrop Hoop earrings, which cost a very reasonable £6.99. To see the whole range, visit Dani’s T-Room online.

Hollywood inspired cigarette holders from The Lady Smokes

Cigarette_holder
Back in the days when Hollywood really meant glamour, everyone who was anyone in cinema smoked. Once associated with glamour, not the signifier of the ‘baddies’, accessories didn’t come more essential than the cigarette.

The Lady Smokes have the glamorous side of smoking all sewn up with their range of cigarette holders. In various lengths and styles, they go from kitsch to stylish enough to recapture the spirit of that Audrey Hepburn poster. It might not be so en vogue anymore, but you can still add some style.

V&A’s Switch off that light! t-shirt

Switch
The V&A continues to re-produce some of its more obscure vintage artwork as limited edition clothing, the latest being this Switch off that light! t-shirt.

Originally from an early to mid 20th century public information poster, it’s a message that still carries some weight in these eco-friendly days (not to mention with energy bills sky high).

A run of just 150, each printed onto a slim-fitting 100 per cent cotton shirt in a choice of size, you can pick one up for £25.
