Cheers to @NigelLBevan for flagging up what looks like being a must-see movie early next year - Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll.

Yes, you've probably guessed this is the movie version of Ian Dury's life - from being struck down with polio at the age of seven through to his lige as an artist and of course, as a musician on the pub rock and early punk scene of the 70s and into the 1980s with The Blockheads.

Starring Andy Serkis, Naomie Harris and Ray Winstone, it's in cimemas from January 8th 2010 - check out the trailer below.
