It's hard to resist the charm of this wooden pelican, originally designed by Gunnar Flørning back in the 1950s.
1959 to be exact, the year after Flørning had produced the very popular Siamese Cat. Like that design, the pelican has recently been reissued so it can win over a new generation of fans. Standing at around 11cm high, and made from beech wood, display him next to the Bojesen monkey and elephant for your very own Danish miniature menagerie.
