The bulk of the range landed late last year, joined by The Mum not long after. Now, there is another instalment of the spoof Ladybird range about to land going by the name of The Dad (Ladybirds for Grown-Ups) by Jason Hazeley and Joel Morris.

If you are familiar with the past scenarios, you’ll know what to expect. Once again, classic Ladybird book imagery mixes with new (and certainly not serious) text from Jason Hazeley and Joel Morris, writers behind the likes of The Framley Examiner and Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe.

The result is a modern-day guide to ‘The Dad’ for adults that is pretty much perfectly timed for the upcoming Father’s Day market. Yes, that is coming soon.

Landing this week, it is heavily discounted at Amazon, selling for just £3.49.
