Sometimes Ikea pops up and does something really impressive. In fact, it has done it this month with the Ikea x ArtRebels 1950s-inspired Brakig limited edition collection.

Ikea has teamed up with the Danish arts collective for a new range that uses pastel shades and 1950s-style patterns across a whole range of products. The Aalto-like Brakig stool offers modernism with those pastel shades or you can opt for storage boxes, hat boxes, trays, chairs, tables, cushions, upholstered stools, bowls, mugs and plates, not to mention fabrics and wallpapers (the one pictured at the very bottom of the page is stunning and just £5 per 10m roll).

Other prices vary, but all are typically Ikea (cheap) but note that all are limited editions – once they're gone, they are definitely gone for good. You can't buy online, but you can buy instore.

You can browse more of the range at the Ikea website.
