The car is for sale in the US, but being pitched to UK buyers (they will ship it to the UK for $1500). According to the seller, it has just 18,000 miles on the clock, which isn’t a great deal considering the age. It also has a ‘super nice underside’ and the ‘engine turns free’, but will need checking when you get it as it has been sitting around for a while. That’s the plus points.
On the downside, it does need ‘some cosmetic renovation’, certainly in terms of the interior. But parts are available for these cars – just make sure any specialist work is done by someone who knows what they are doing.
The car is currently at £6,600 if you fancy taking on a project and getting yourself pointed at on the road every time you leave the house.
