Actually the design itself is also worth talking about regardless of investment value. This is a gem of the era.

That era is the 1960s into the 1970s, with the lamp produced over both decades. Very much in the Guzzini mould, it has a chromed steel frame and a plastic shade that gives off an orange glow to the side, with the ‘bud’ on the top producing white light.

The original in-line switch is in the cord and the lamp is obviously working as you can see from the photos. What you might not be able to see is a ‘very faint scuff mark’, which is highlighted on one of the images on the listing but in truth, doesn’t look particularly noticeable. Have a look, see what you think. But it wouldn’t bother me personally.

As I said, the value if Guzzini is on the rise and this lamp is up with a price tag of £799. Saying that, you can make a cheaper off if you wish.
