Not cheap, but you will have a degree of exclusivity when you wear the limited edition The Cure knitwear by Hades.
You might know the name of the maker/retailer because they were also behind the very popular David Bowie knitwear range, some of which are still available at the retailer’s store.
Like that range, this is another music-based selection in limited numbers, using the imagery of the artist to create something that’s both eye-catching and practical. Especially if you are a fan of the band. Actually, I can’t imagine you would buy into unless you were fan of the band. However, that’s not always the case. Just look how many Ramones t-shirts you see being worn these days.
It’s officially licensed, with the band donating their profits to charity, which is nice to see. And as for sizing, check the details of each design, as some are oversized and some are true to size.
But whatever you get, this is a quality affair. Each one is handcrafted in Scotland by named makers in very small numbers and made of 100 per cent wool. It’s a talking point, a cool design and something to treasure, as well as something to keep you warm. As I said, if you are a fan of the band, all the better. And I include myself in that.
Fancy one? Some sizes are already out, but if you see one you like in your size, expect to pay £225.
