Matalan’s bargain retro-styled pumps

Mat_pumps

We're not suggesting they're on a par with a pair of PF Flyers or Spring Court pumps, but these Matalan retro-styled pumps offer the look for a whole lot less.

New for this coming season, the male-only pumps are typical of the style, with a canvas upper, gum sole and minimal detailing on the predominantly white colour scheme. Ideal for throwing on and nipping to the shop or for wearing round the house.

But best of all, these are super-cheap. The price we've been quoted is £6 a pair. Sadly you can't get them online, you have to go into your local Matalan – but as they're new season, you'll need to leave it a few weeks yet.

Fred Perry fly weight wax Harrington jacket

Wax_harrington

Think there was nothing new anyone could do to the classic Harrington jacket? Well, Fred Perry is trying something novel with the fly weight wax Harrington jacket.

As the name suggests, this is a wax jacket, made from fly weight Millerain fabric (the same company that supplies wax kings Barbour) in a very dark brown (with a touch of maroon), complete with a cord-lined press stud collar, press stud handwarmer pockets, inside zip pocket, vented back, elasticated cuffs and hem, Fred Perry tartan inside and the embroidered wreath on the chest.

One of those designs you'll love or hate – and if you love it, you can pick one up for £175.

Russel Wright 1930s Roly Poly Cart

Rolypoly

A design classic that's been remade for the modern era – the Russel Wright Roly Poly Cart.

Wright originally designed the trolley back in 1936, originally in bamboo and wood and designed to serve drinks outdoors on warm summer days. Today's version is a much more sturdy affair, made from fabricated aluminium with custom-spun hubcaps, hard rubber tyres and vinyl inserts you can change with the season.

A stylish art deco design that you can buy again, courtesy of HK Designs. The only thing we don't know is the price – as it's a custom build, you'll have to drop the company a line for an estimate. We suspect that means it isn't cheap.

Limited edition Billy Rainbow print by Sir Peter Blake

Billy_rainbow

If you're a fan of the wrestler prints by Sir Peter Blake, you'll want to get your hands on the latest instalment – Billy Rainbow.

And things are still running in the family. You see, Billy Rainbow is the son of Babe Rainbow, which means he's also the brother of Bobby Rainbow, long lost twin brother by all accounts. And the print itself is part eight of twelve of the Sir Peter Blake portfolio box set (if you're collecting) – but note that the entire collection of those will be released separately, so get saving.

All of the Billy Rainbow silkscreen prints have the CCA Gallery stamp embossed in the corner and are sold with a certificate of authenticity. Just 175 available in total, priced at £795 unframed.

Andrew Warhola by Charles Lutz – Andy Warhol-themed skateboard deck

Warhola

The latest Andy Warhol-related work by Charles Lutz is something very much out of the ordinary – the Andrew Warhola skateboard deck.

Following on from the previous 'Warhol Denied', 'Sold' and 'Stacked' series, this latest limited edition features an old sepia-toned school photo of Warhol. And if you believe the hype, the photo was actually given to the artist by Warhol from beyond the grave.
