Le Klint 1970s 341 table and floor light by Poul Christiansen

Klint

It's a design usually seen hanging from the ceiling, but now the Le Klint 341 is available for your floor and table.

Designed by Poul Christiansen in 1971, both share the same design – a hand folded shade made from a single sheet of plastic (not unlike the 172 ceiling light), with a chrome base and stem finishing things off.

£871 gets you the floor light, with the table light selling for £654.

Hans J. Wegner 1950s Papa Bear Chair at Modernica

Papa

A stunning midcentury armchair, back in production in all its original glory – the Papa Bear Chair by Hans J. Wegner.

Dating back to 1951 and now produced by Modernica with 'strict adherence to the original design with regard to dimensions', the chair was originally described as 'the most comfortable chair ever made', presumably because of that high back and enveloping arms – a bear hug without the fear of imminment death you could say.

The finish is a mix of walnut and your choice of fabric or leather, the price starts at $2,400, which is around £1,570.
