We featured La Mela (The Apple) a while back. Designed by Enzo Mari in 1963, its influence continues to be seen everywhere, not least in these t-shirts from Violent Elegance.
The t-shirts feature the same graphic depiction of the apple, right down to the black stalk. The simplicity of the design works well printed onto the white cotton American Apparel t-shirts they've used. Those who are less purist may be interested to know the design is also available with a green apple (different to Mari's original red design).
