Ok, if you happen to be reading this in the Uk, it's safe to say you'll probably be hot from the unseasonal temperatures that are currently hitting these shores. You might want a fan to help you cool down – like this Pifco table fan, currently up for grabs on eBay.

Described as a 1960s model, it has a really eye-catching orange and chrome exterior that should fit into any period exterior, either on a table or wall-mounted. It's also in 'full working order' should you be worried about that.

Starting price is £15 and hopefully you'll get it before the weather turns. Wouldn't bet on it though.

Quirky and cheap, that's what we like about this 1970s desk lamp.

It's an eye-catching piece of modernist-inspired design, the lampshade made of sheet metal, lacquered white on the inside to maximise light reflection with the top part of the stem in chrome, the bottom being metal that's lacquered orange, all combining to create a lamp that's easy to direct over your work.

It's described as in 'good condition and in full working order', but there is the the odd age-related mark, all of which are outlined on the site. Price? Right now it's a very tasty 99 pence.

eBay watch: Fully restored 1950s BMW Isetta 300 bubble car

Not exactly the sexiest car on the road, but if you were to drive round your local car in this BMW Isetta 300, you'll get more attention than any other BMW around.

Originally dating to 1958, the car was bought in the UK, then shipped over to Poland for professional restoration. Check out the pictures on the site for many shots of the finished vehicle, it really does look like something special. It's even got the original number plate.

It dates from the 1970s according to the seller, but this Krups wall clock could certainly pass for an item from the modernist era.

Battery powered, it's sized around 18.5cm square, with that dark outer cover hosting a glass dome, which in turn protects the white plastic clock face. That face has those very functional numbers, with dark contrast hands offering up the time. The maker's name and country is also present on the face.

The German-made clock is sold in 'good condition' and 'fully working order', with a price cheap enough to tempt us all in. Right now it's just 99 pence.

With craft and 'make do and mend' all the rage right now, this midcentury-style oak sewing box could well be a sought-after item. Especially at this price.

Love the design, those curves and the angled legs, formed in oak and opening out into a number of compartments. See over the page for that, it's quite impressive.

According to the seller, the box is in 'good condition', with some age-related scratches and marks, but it is structurally sound. Price? As I right, it's at 99 pence. One to keep an eye on.
