Size? sale – up top 50 per cent off trainers and clothing

Roma

Always worth checking out the Size? sale, although you might have to trawl through to find the right sizes and the full 50 per cent discounts. You'll need to be quick before the best stuff goes too.

But if you get lucky, there are some real bargains here – like the classic Puma Roma 68 above, a football-themed shoe that celebrated the European Cup win for Italy in 1968, this time in white and navy.

Originally £54.99, it's in the sale for £29.99.

End Clothing sale starts – big discounts on classic gear

Fila

End Clothing always has a good end of year sale – and the current one has just started, offering the usual big discounts on classic labels.

Indeed, there's some cracking clobber at knock-down prices,  the likes of Baracuta, Adidas (including the Craftmanship Samba trainers, Roms and Gazelle OG to name just three), A.P.C, as well as Pretty Green, Fila Vintage, Gitman, Heritage Research, Fred Perry, Levi's, Lyle & Scott, Lacoste, Sergio Tacchini and many more.

Just one example above, the Fila 82 Crewneck we featured a short time back. Then it was £69, now it's a tasty £41 – and perfect for the weather.

British Army Green Authentic Great Coat by Crombie

Crombie

Frustratingly, some of the best winter coats (for men at least) are also the most expensice. As this  Crombie British Army Green Authentic Great Coat demonstrates. But all might not be lost.

It certainly is a stunning item, an authentic recreation of a World War II military coat from the Crombie archive, originally supplied to the War Office for officers of the armed forces.

This slim-fitting coat is packed full of detail, including handcrafted chalk-filled brass buttons that feature the Crombie crest and raw wool cloth discovered in a mill in Yorkshire which is 'faithfully replicated in military hues'. £795 is the price right now, but Crombie is known for generous sales, so one to keep an eye on over the coming days.

1970s Nike Cortez trainers return in sky blue nylon

Nike

Nike is all too often overshadowed by other trainer labels on these pages (usually for good reason). But we do love the latest reissue of the classic Nike Cortez trainers.

A lightweight shoe that dates back to 1972 under the original name of the Tiger Corsair, it now gets a back to basics reissue in a light nylon finish and in a sky blue with white details. But there;s still room for the contrast jagged sole, round toe piece and trademark 'swoosh'.

Available on pre-order now, £50 is the price you'll need to pay.

Lace Livey Sunglasses by Thierry Lasry

Lasryliney

For most of us sunglasses are the last things on our minds (and shopping lists) right now, but that's never stopped the fashion industry. Determined to show off their Summer 2011 fodder already, there's some pieces worth buying ahead for, like these Lace Livey Sunglasses by Theirry Lasry.

Sold as womenswear, this pair's appeal goes beyond that to a unisex pair with effortless style. The rounded frames avoid the often clichéd oversized sixties look, instead opting for a smoothly rounded mid size. The tortoiseshell frame, complete with slimmed down arms, are the ideal finishes to a timeless pair of frames.
