The appeal of this retro Mini Cushion is in its simplicity.
Rather than the typical red, white and blue union jack colours that these designs normally favour, the cushion is plain white with the mini reproduced as a line drawing. The outline is given a stitch effect to add a bit of extra interest to the design. The cushion is a 45cm square, made from a cotton mix and filled with feathers.

I'm guessing these were originally big in the US, because I can't remember the first coming of The Original Slush Mug in the UK. If you do, well it's back.

The album was released in 1970 and as well as being a bestseller, has been hugely influential amongst jazz, funk and rock musicians. But now Bitches Brew by Miles Davis is also the inspiration for a beer by Dogfish Head.
It's a potent little number too, described as 'a bold, dark beer that's a fusion of three threads imperial stout and one thread honey beer with gesho root, coming in at 9% ABV. According to Dogfish founder Sam Calagione, is "the ultimate partner for chili or spicy curry chicken" and best enjoyed "sipped cool, not cold, from a snifter or red wine glass while listening to the Bitches Brew album."
That album is due a reissue in August, which is when the beer, with that very hip label, will be on the market at an as-yet undisclosed price.

Printed back in 1968, it's described as 'one of the most important Italian mid-century furniture design references', with 204 pages packed with illustrations of the work of Joe Colombo, Franco Albini, Cini Boeri, Frattini, Castoglioni and anyone else worth mentioning, all pulled together under the design and art direction of Bruno Munari.
The book is in 'very good condition' and is up for grabs right now on eBay for £12.50. If you're a collector, it's a must.
