Just in time for the colder weather comes this Gloverall 1970s Archive cord duffle jacket.
Not just a retro jacket, this one has been released to celebrate the Gloverall's 60th anniversary with an eye on real authenticity – the Gloverall Litchfield 1950s car coat.
Whether you call it a pea coat or a reefer coat, this Gloverall four-pocket naval reefer coat (as it's officially titled) is a nice example, standing out amongst the glut of such coats on the market right now.
It's a classic, a slightly more substantial variation on the theme from the famed clothing brand, featuring a notch lapel, two front slip pockets, two front flap pockets and a double breasted anchor button front fastening. The coat also has a single rear vent, one interior slip pocket and is fully lined.
All of that retails online for £225.

The Gloverall Monty duffle coat is a classic and something we have covered numerous times in the past – but here's something a little different – the Gloverall Monty Detail short duffle coat.
Yes, it's a cut-down version of the wartime classic. It keeps the three wood and rope cord duffle fastenings, but cuts the length down for something more approaching a jacket. There's also two large pockets, a single inner pocket, a double button throat flap and an adjustable hood.
Made in England and from an 80 per cent wool mix, you can pick one up in black or navy for £219.
