Add some psych to your life with the Syd Barrett colouring book

Barrett1

Remember the Joy Division colouring book? Of course you do. Well, the people behind that effort (Piper Gates Design) have produced a second instalment of what's being called the 'doomed poet' series with the Syd Barrett colouring book.

Yes, that's right, you can spend the cold winter evenings adding some colour to images of the Madcap Syd and the 60s-era Pink Floyd line-up. There's a four-page cover and eight pages of colouring fun, as well as a free Arnold Layne 7-inch sleeve, which can also be coloured in.

Each copy is signed by the artist and the run is limited to just 45 copies. Grab one via eBay while you can, each one is available on a 'Buy It Now' for £15.99. Perfect Christmas gift fodder. Another image over the page.

Back in the day, there was only one man to call if you wanted an iconic rock image for your weekly or monthly magazine – Mick Rock, also known as the man who shot the '70s'. Now those classic images are available to buy as limited edition prints.

Take your pick from the likes of Bowie, Iggy or Debbie Harry, or you can opt for this classic 1969 image of Syd Barrett and his record player. THis particular image is sized at 28 x 35.5cm and is a limited edition of 90, signed by Mick and printed as an archival quality photographic print.

The downside is obviously the price at £825, which doesn't actually include the VAT.
